WakeRopes & Handles
Wakeboard Ropes and Wakeboard Handles
What is the difference between a wakeboard rope and a waterski rope?
Waterski ropes are not recommended for wakeboarding because ski ropes stretch too much. Too much stretch in a wake rope makes tricks difficult. Ropes generally come in in low stretch Low stretch polyethylene, and other materials that support a pull with no stretch. More advanced ropes are longer and always made of the best non-stretch material. Some even have a metal cable for the core.
Wakeboard handles are at least an inch wider that a ski handle, and most wakeboard handles float after a fall.
